AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI, TO CONTRIBUTE FUNDS TO THE GEORGE E. OHR ARTS & CULTURAL CENTER IN BILOXI, MISSISSIPPI; AND FOR RELATED PURPOSES.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI:

SECTION 1. The Board of Supervisors of Harrison County, Mississippi, is authorized, in its discretion, to contribute from any available funds of the county, an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) during calendar years 1999 and 2000 to the George E. Ohr Arts & Cultural Center in Biloxi, Mississippi.

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
